The naive belief DEPUTY’S LOPEZ

by admin ·

Before the seventh day

Even if you do not believe me, I do believe in the good intentions of Deputy Lopez Chavez. The economic crisis and the nature

by benjamin ·

We are in crisis and many people check their hands to the head. Some banks fail. Some companies do not receive the payments they expect, …., We all know what we are going.

How can this be?

The current crisis is the clearest example of what happens to us when we forget who we are: Some of the animals that live on this planet, as all subject to the laws of physics, the law of conservation of energy and its degradation by increasing entropy.

For years we lived on credit: We have bought homes with no money, we have secured our lives and our property without knowing if we could afford, we have run and tried to violate the laws of nature.

Integrity

by Kerby Anderson ·

The integrity and the Bible

The theme of this article is the concept of integrity, a quality of character of which we speak often but we do not see so often in the lives of public officials or even the lives of people with whom we live and work.

The word integrity comes from the same Latin root as integer, and suggests the whole person. Just as we would speak of an integer, we can speak of a whole person, not divided. A person of integrity lives correctly, is not divided, nor is it a different person in different circumstances. A person of integrity is the same person in private than it is in public.

Multiculturalism

by Closson ·

What is multiculturalism?

A few years ago, the internal newsletter of a major university published an essay written by two professors entitled The Statement of the Black Faculty Caucus (The statement of the Black Caucus of Teachers). The purpose of the trial was to define how the university could become in a truly multicultural institution. He spoke of delegation of power, authority, Western culture and transformation. The goal of the Black Faculty Caucus was to create a critical mass of “minority people” with empowerment at all levels of the university system. The essay argued that “Euro-American teaching materials for people of color can not do that college is multicultural, because multiculturalism requires people of color empowerment in addition to areas of knowledge empowerment.” At the end of the trial, the authors wrote: “What we are talking about here is nothing less than transforming the college into a multicultural learning center, whatever it unless it continues education system that ends up playing the racism and racists. ”
