It could be a good time to invest in gold

by admin ·

Many of you have noticed that the price of gold bullion has fallen again, now reaching about $ 1,600 an ounce, from a high of over $ 1,900 per ounce of gold. The fall accelerated last week in response to the concern of the debt in the euro area. You might think that the crisis in the euro area would be good for gold, since the devaluation of a currency should increase the demand for gold as a store of value and can not be “defiled” by governments and central banks.

However, it seems that when markets fall, investors need more liquidity, which leads them to sell their gold reserves, which are very liquid and thus easier to sell.

Summary currencies

by admin ·

The week just ended has seen the ‘euro to remain weak against other major currencies. Our currency has arrived once again close to the minimum reached last Dec. 14 against the dollar. From there it is a bit ‘went up, but the situation is much improved. Rather, the U.S. dollar is increasingly seen as a safe haven. Moreover, considering that even the richest countries in Europe seem to be in trouble, we are talking of France, here the situation is getting worse. To this is added the fear of a global downgrading of euro area countries by rating agencies and how they can take the unknown markets.

Regarding the exchange rate between euro and dollar, next week we are attentive to any confirmation before opening a new location.

The success of the loan transaction giant BCE to the banks was initially relieved the market and renewed concerns on liquidity. Thus the Eurodollar has suffered and he came back to test 3020 yesterday to switch between this and 3080. Our advice in the morning, not easy at the end of the year to know what parity can do since we have more volatility and less acting on the market. There are rumors that some would see the euro fall below 1.29 by the end of the year. But it seems that he did not want and that we are moving towards a range of consolidation between 3020 and 3120 for now.

Also, your turn these points with 3080/90 which will be our resistance before the middle of 3120 and the area of media again through 3040/3020. The stoploss is quite short and if you pass one of these areas up or down, we aim to increase 3120/80 and 2980/2950 on the downside.

Benefits of Straight Through Processing

Some brokers now allow you to perform transactions Straight Through Processing, in order to eliminate the slow and improve efficiency, even for the customer. What is Straight Through Processing? This way of trading, also known as STP, is practically in the to the execution of orders electronically, without paper documents. In practice, this means that the broker will automatically send the orders to the supplier of liquidity traders, without going through a dealing desk. The result is a more efficient trading system for traders and brokers.

Another advantage of trading through STP is a lower risk linked to regulation of the position. This is due to a shortening of the time of transaction, which increases the probability that a contract or agreement is set in time.

For we must not always believe the rating agencies

by admin ·

Few days ago, Moody, note rating agency, has threatened the United Kingdom to pursue a downgrade in the rating of the country, which is now in Triple A. Even if the British government has sought to blame the euro crisis of this statement, something from which I could actually depend on, Moody explained that their decision is mainly the result of poor economic prospects of the United Kingdom, which is a lower growth and a increased debt, a deficit larger than that of the past.

What’s underneath the U.S.

by admin ·

The rating agency Fitch has returned to warn the U.S. its triple-A on its debt was not compatible with the load increasing, but indicated that no revision would be made until about 2013. Fitch has pointed out a negative view on the U.S. sovereign debt, but the warning is quite smooth in these circumstances, especially since S & P has already stripped to the U.S. its being superior. Of course, the crisis of the Eurozone has grabbed headlines for much of the second half of this year, but the U.S. situation should not be ignored. That said, the dollar’s status as a reserve, the low level of Treasury yields and the upcoming U.S. elections most likely cause is that the issue of debt sustainability in the U.S. not addressed in 2012. Europe must act sternly and give a warning to the U.S. ignore the debt sustainability, but in all likelihood, will not take the trouble of taking action on the matter.

The GBP / USD corrected upward New

by admin ·

The currency pair GBP / USD yesterday reported a significant momentum bullish on the area of breaking resistance and reaching 1.5550 1.5699. This makes my intraday bearish forecast has failed and so I switched to short-term upside towards 1.5778 – 1.5800 and the trendline whose reference level can be located now around 1.5900.

A medioi within my forecast for GBP / USD is neutral even while the price remains under the resistance which represents the trend line will be in bearish mode medium-long term, so bear that began with the fall of the wire from 1.6616 in in August.

Trebound continues this morning on a parity with the highest of 3145. I must say that the day on Tuesday has brought good news and it has restored morale to the market before Christmas. Our advice in the morning, 30 mins and 4 hours macd bullish and are obviously the daily macd turns a little sign that the downward trend in daily begins to weaken.
So this morning, he should be careful because even though we have no European figure, we have statistics to 10:30 English major.

Also, the area from 3120 to 3140 will act as resistance and as long as one does not pass these points, it will be difficult to go higher.
