The Group of Eight, also known as the G8 is an unofficial forum attended by leaders of major industrialized countries, namely Russia, USA, United Kingdom, France, Japan, Germany, Canada and Italy, with the additional participation of the European Commission .

The history of the G8, previously known as the G7, began in 1975 when at the initiative of French President Giscard d’Estaing, the first meeting of the leaders of six countries was held in Rambouillet, with Canada, which joined a year later. Since 1977, the head of the European Commission, recently also the current EU president, is invited to these summits. Initially, the G7 has focused mainly on macroeconomic issues and trends of global development, but were later added to the agenda even political problems. After determination of the moving average optimal to use in Forex, we can use the median line as a line of support for a long position, or as a line of resistance for a short position. Violations of this line can also be used as a signal that a coin is in phase reversal, in the case in which a trader wishes to open a position against the actual evolution of the trend or development of the new input levels for a position.

For example, if it is determined that the moving average at 30 days was shown to be a good support for a given currency pair, which is located in an upward trend, when the market were to close in correspondence of this line of support or even to below, then we can get the signal that this trend may be over. However, it is important to wait for confirmation of these signals. One way to do this is to wait a certain period of time below the level of support. If the trend continues to fall, then you can enter the market.

The Asian session is the first major center in the world with open markets, hence the beginning of the first important meeting in the currency market opens at 23 Italian on Sunday.
