I was watching “Reefer Madness: The Musical” tonight, and I gotta say it’s my favorite musical of the last few years. It began as an off-Broadway show, before being made into a movie for Showtime. Catchy songs, and a hilariously irreverent message. The musical is based on the 1930s propaganda film of the same name.

I’ve felt like introducing some new features that aren’t strictly political — a little something to help personalize the blog. We added our first book review yesterday. We’ll probably be putting one up every couple of weeks. Sometimes they’ll be political books, sometimes not. We’re not concerned with reviewing the most recent releases, just what interests us at any given time. Similarly, I’ll probably be tossing up clips of things I like; hopefully, you’ll like them too.
