I acknowledge the death of a man

by Morales-Aguilera ·

imagen0027Danielle Bleitrach “Rebellion” Until today I have made more or less to translate and reproduce the texts that I sent on the case of Orlando Zapata, the Cuban prisoner who died from a hunger strike. There were several reasons for this:

1) The first is that the death of a human being, whoever and whatever the circumstances, it really affects me. And even more so in this case where there was a hunger strike, a self-destruction. The simple fact of seeing this man’s face was painful to me. It reminded me of Guy Georges, that mulatto who have always thought that eventually destroyed by a deep lack of love before becoming a serial murderer of elderly.

Capitalism … a real joke …

by Cubana ·

Here you have a joke that I have received through tuenti, which I found very enlightening.

SON: Dad, I have to do a job for escuela.Te I can ask a question?
FATHER: Yes, hijo.Qué want to know?
SON: What is politics?
DAD: Well, let’s take our home as ejemplo.Yo am who I bring the money home, so I can call “capitalism.” Your mother is the one that manages the money, so we can call “government” . Between the two of you and take care of your needs, then you would be “the people”. A maid can call the “working class” and your little sister would be “the future”. Do you understand son?

.. I’m traveling, I’ve been a week in Nouadhibou, living experiences here also taught me much about life. I train route through the wilderness, twelve hours (no exaggeration) waiting more than nine in a village in the desert. I had the opportunity to meet many interesting people and live the odd adventure.

Juanita Castro

by Cubana ·

“The Castro family, including Juanita, are very tricky (…) and everything in the book are lies that make fun of the Cuban community in exile”
Remarks by Miguel Saavedra, head of the so-called “Cuban exile” Vigilia Mambisa.

In this vast universe there are individuals who are unable to accept a simple truth, but tell it one of yours. For example, now came to light a new book by the sister of Fidel and Raul: Juanita Castro. Unrestricted claims he worked for the CIA (to then say we’re paranoid ) and also is very proud of having done so. However, these claims have sparked a fierce controversy in some small areas of Miami.

Criticism of the Humanities

by benjamin ·

Mario Bunge wrote in 1996 against the inaccuracy and charlatanism which fields in the humanities. And it turns out that students in these disciplines have to swallow that “reason is wrong,” “there is no objective truth” and that science “is sexist and evil, is to exploit us.” Result? The rise of pseudoscience and fraud by distrust in the rational capacity and a cultural kick to pull the most valuable thing we (the scientific method) in the trash.

Correa bother to remember during a public event held in the port city of Guayaquil Ecuador, despite all the problems that had to overcome in 2009, grew up, which it believes is most important beyond what small size of the figures. For the Ecuadorian president last year was really “very hard” and agreed to note that the magnitude of growth is consistent with that experienced throughout Latin America, where most nations grew a few tenths but finally showed a positive variation of GDP .

Integrity

by Kerby Anderson ·

The integrity and the Bible

The theme of this article is the concept of integrity, a quality of character of which we speak often but we do not see so often in the lives of public officials or even the lives of people with whom we live and work.

The word integrity comes from the same Latin root as integer, and suggests the whole person. Just as we would speak of an integer, we can speak of a whole person, not divided. A person of integrity lives correctly, is not divided, nor is it a different person in different circumstances. A person of integrity is the same person in private than it is in public.
