Clinton: McCain’s Plan is Bad, My Plan is Just Pointless

Sen. Clinton went up against fierce, go-for-jugular news anchor Katie Couric to detail the difference between her plan and McCain’s plan:

KATIE COURIC: So let me start by by asking you, Senator Clinton, you dismissed opposition to your tax gas holiday by economists as elitist, but a new CBS poll finds that about half of all voters also think it’s a bad idea. And many think it’s politically motivated. Do you think this proposal will end up hurting you more than helping you?

Dean Expects to Seat Florida, Michigan

Further confirming my theory that this whole Florida/Michigan dust-up will be decided long before the convention, Dean re-iterated today that he fully expects to seat the delegations of the two contested states. Everyone screaming about Dean’s poor leadership on this issue will be eating crow by the end of this summer. The nominee will be decided in June at which point seating the full delegations of Florida and Michigan will pose no problem for the DNC.

Clinton Says She Will Press the Delegate Issue

Hillary Clinton gave an interview to a local PBS show, Texas Monthly Talks, the other day, and though the interview won’t air on TV until next week, a clip regarding the Florida and Michigan delegates is already on-line. In it Clinton continues her case that her wins in Florida and Michigan should be counted as valid victories:

The press seems to have missed the distinction if that’s the case. The talk is that you agreed not to seat the delegation.
